1. About these terms

These terms of use apply to your use of www.astana.sg (the "website"). The website is operated by Astana Holding Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202645538D) for itself and the other member firms of Astana Group. By using the website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

2. Who we are

"Astana Group", "we", "us" and "our" refer to the following member firms, each of which is a separate and independent legal entity:

• Astana Holding Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202645538D), the group holding company;
• Astana Accounting Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202645544M), accounting, tax and advisory;
• Astana Pte. Ltd., an ACRA-registered corporate service provider (CSP No. FA20260246);
• Nas BizAdvisory Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202139150M), group services; and
• Nas Chartered Accountants (UEN T26PF0004H), a public accounting firm registered with ACRA, which provides audit and assurance services and will be succeeded by Astana Assurance PAC from April 2027.

No member firm can obligate or bind another in respect of third parties, and each is liable only for its own acts and omissions. Nas Chartered Accountants, and Astana Assurance PAC after it, is not owned by Astana Holding Pte. Ltd. Immigration services are provided by Goldcrest Meridian Pte. Ltd., an affiliated company and a joint venture with M&R Advisory Pte. Ltd.

3. Information only, not professional advice

The content of the website is general information. It is not accounting, audit, tax, legal, financial, Shariah or immigration advice, and you should not act on it without advice on your own circumstances. Where the website refers to Islamic finance, we advise on structure, accounting and reporting; Shariah rulings are given by an independent Shariah adviser.

Using the website, or sending us an enquiry, does not create a client relationship. Services are provided only under a written engagement letter issued by the member firm named in it, on the terms set out in that letter. Audit and assurance engagements are subject to our acceptance and independence procedures.

4. Using the website

You may use the website for lawful purposes only. You must not:

• use the website in a way that breaches any law or regulation;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or any connected system;
• introduce viruses or other harmful code, or interfere with the website's operation; or
• copy or extract content from the website by automated means for commercial purposes without our written consent.

5. Intellectual property

The website and its content, including text, graphics, photographs, video, the Astana name and the Astana logo, are owned by or licensed to Astana Group. You may view, download and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided you keep any copyright and other notices. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute or use our name or logo for any other purpose without our prior written consent.

6. Enquiries, proposals and job applications

When you send us an enquiry, a request for proposal or a job application, we handle your personal data as described in our Privacy notice. Please do not send confidential or sensitive information through the website until we have agreed to act for you. A proposal from us is not an offer to provide services until an engagement letter is signed.

7. Links to other websites

The website may link to other websites, such as www.nascharteredaccountants.com, LinkedIn or video hosting services. We provide these links for convenience. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

8. Accuracy and availability

We take care to keep the website accurate and up to date, but laws, regulations and practices change. The website is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful code, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, no member firm of Astana Group, nor any of its partners, directors, employees or agents, is liable for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect or consequential, arising from your use of the website or your reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Singapore law.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. The courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of the website.
